The Food Information for Consumers Regulation law changed on 13th December 2014 and to this end Carol has undergone accredited online training and has received her level 2 Award in Food Allergen Awareness for Childcare.

The food allergens for each meal are highlighted in blue brackets. If you would like any further information about the allergens in our menus or would like a copy of any of our recipes, please do pop down to see me in the kitchen or leave a message at reception.

Amy Tucker is Senior Nursery Nurse of Bunnies having joined Woodlands in 2008 as a trainee. Amy had already worked in the nursery on a part time basis and knew that childcare was for her. Amy is an extremely competent nursery nurse and knows that she and her team must form a caring relationship with each baby and their family. She appreciates that each baby has its own personality and way of communicating - she also appreciates that she needs to be there for every parent leaving their child for the first time as they too need her assurances.

Jemma Annetts is Support Senior to Amy and has worked at Woodlands since October 2011. Jemma really enjoys working with this age group as she finds the children so rewarding. Jemma is a very friendly and bubbly member of the Woodlands team.

Chistopher Lovelock is Senior Nursery Nurse of Butterflies. Chris joined Woodlands in 2008 and has worked in all the nursery rooms. For Chris this was quite a challenge as childcare as a career for men was in its early stages. However, he stuck with it and now has achieved his goal.

Nicola Barry joined Woodlands in November 2008 and is Senior Nursery Nurse of Squirrels. Nicola works closely with Lizzy ensuring that the day runs smoothly and is packed with fun.   Nicola, too, has worked in most rooms in the nursery but enjoys the challenges that the pre-school age group bring, you never know what you are going to be asked next.

Lizzy Brown, our fully Qualified Nursery teacher is passionate about early years teaching & ensures the highest quality so that each and every child is encouraged to learn in a supportive environment.
